'PEACHES' keeps a very close eye on second lot.

CHEATINGSIDEOFTOWN runs in the last race at Market Rasen this afternoon, what looks to be a weak bumper. We are very fortunate to have The Champion in the saddle and i hope that his dedication will be rewarded. A journey to Market Rasen on an August Sunday can only mean one thing, miles upon miles of caravans, or as my great friend Percy Sewell describes them, "Mobile Fornicatoriums" !!

Hopefully the 'scenic drive' up the A46 will be worthwhile, as CHEATINGSIDEOFTOWN has been working well and has improved through the summer. He ran in the valuable D.B.S. Sales N.H. Flat race in March and was i'm afraid to say, not quite ready mentally or physically for his debut. These sales races can be too tempting, with a lot of prize-money for what can be ordinary races and i was hoping rather than believing that 'BALOO' was ready. Since purchasing him in May 2009, the plan has always been to try to win and 'cash-in', as it with all of Mr. Moody's horses and this fellow is in the Doncaster Sale this Tuesday.

We are hoping that by tuesday the auctioneer is able to announce;.......... 'Lot 189, CHEATINGSIDEOFTOWN,now with a significant update in the catalogue, impressive winner of his bumper two days ago at Market Rasen!' May be i should stop by in Lincoln Cathedral, on the way to the races, to say some prayers?
